Hi, my name is Chih-Hao. I just completed my doctoral research on numerical and matrix analysis at McGill University. My work included developing new algorithms for solving industrial-scale problems. My proposed numerical linear solvers can effectively reduce the required hardware cost and deliver robust convergence performance. They are currently deployed in Bombardier Aerospace in Canada for aerodynamic shape optimization. The developments have led to two international journal papers and five conference presentations.

Being passionate about building new applications, I also devoted myself to support community projects by developing a platform for Canadian athletes and trainers to look for trainees. I developed the back-end API for a cross-platform mobile app and integrated my work with the front-end. I've focused on full-stack development and made use of micro-services to improve the performance and facilitate the easier maintenance of a scalable back-end framework.

As being away from screens, I practice Kendo, work out, read, and listen to podcasts.
